The first casualty of war is truth, and the most important truth is the sanctity of life. With this awareness, we do not accept to be a party to the imperialist plans based on hatred of beliefs. We have been the voice of rights violations throughout the history of humanity and we continue to be.
In the Palestinian and Israeli territories; we follow with concern the disregard of the right to life, whose superiority is emphasised in all international texts, the disregard of basic humanitarian needs and civil security, and the failure of states to fulfil their most basic duties and responsibilities.
We believe that the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state is inevitable, that this state should be built through the democratic institutions and organisations of the Palestinian people, not through terrorist organisations serving imperialist interests, and we wholeheartedly support their struggle for independence. We never accept the value of the struggle for this cause to be contaminated with inhumane treatment by a number of structures. On this occasion, we defend the right to life of the Israeli people without any ifs or buts; we call on all people to struggle together for peace, for the urgent establishment of a two-state structure in order to bring peace and tranquility to the region, to stop the massacres against civilians and ultimately all wars in the region.
We are deeply saddened to see that the clear blue of the sky where we live has been polluted by bombs. The attacks on civilians in Israel cannot be accepted. However, this unacceptable situation does not give the State of Israel the right to indiscriminately attack the right to life of people living in Palestine. The attacks that Israel has been carrying out in Gaza for a week, in which civilians have been massacred, have ceased to be a response to the attack against it or self-defence. Israel's targeting of civilians in front of the eyes of the whole world and under the name of counter-attack is a war crime. It is our duty to draw the attention of international public opinion to prevent Israel from continuing to commit this crime. With these inhumane attacks in Gaza, the state of Israel violates the UN Security Council Resolutions, the 1949 Geneva Convention, which commits to protect civilians living in war zones and under occupation, and we call on the entire international community to react against these massacres in order to implement international law and ensure a just peace.
